Method 1: Using the Control Center

  1. Access Control Center: Swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen (or swipe up from the bottom on older models) to open Control Center.
  2. Locate the Screen Recording Icon: Look for the circular icon with a filled-in circle inside.
  3. Start Recording: Tap and hold the Screen Recording icon. A three-second countdown will appear. Let go to begin recording.

 

Method 2: Using the Accessibility Shortcut

  1. Go to Settings: Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Navigate to Accessibility: Scroll down and tap on “Accessibility.”
  3. Choose Touch: Under “Physical and Motor,” select “Touch.”
  4. Activate Accessibility Shortcut: Scroll down to “Accessibility Shortcut” and tap on it.
  5. Select Screen Recording: Choose “Screen Recording” from the list of options.

Now, whenever you triple-click the Home button (or the Side button on newer models), screen recording will start or stop.

 

Additional Tips:

  • Audio: To include audio in your recording, tap on the Screen Recording icon in Control Center and select “Microphone.”
  • FaceTime: If you want to record a FaceTime call, both participants need to agree.
  • Stop Recording: To stop recording, tap on the Screen Recording icon in Control Center again. The recording will be saved to your Photos app.
  • Edit Recordings: You can edit your screen recordings using the built-in Photos app.
